BC Stats

The project for BC Stats was a web application written to simplify data retrieval and display for users. It drew from a population statistics database, with the data divided by year, gender, age group, and location. No longer in use, but a brief walkthrough follows, then screenshots.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and choose one of linked dataset categories: “Health Regions”, “Regional Districts and Development Regions”, or “School Districts & College Regions”.
  2. Choose a specific region type and whether to query past data or projections.
  3. Make selections on the form to indicate the criteria of interest.
  4. The results are displayed in an automatically-generated table on the page, and downloadable as a CSV file.
